Blainville-Boisbriand Armada

The Armada de Blainville- Boisbriand are a Canadian ice hockey team from Blainville- Boisbriand in the province of Quebec. The team plays since 2011 in one of the three highest Canadian Junior Hockey League, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League ( QMJHL ).

History

The Club de hockey junior de Montréal were relocated following the 2010/11 season after Boisbriand and renamed Armada de Blainville- Boisbriand. As the first coach and general manager of the Canadian Pascal Vincent has been committed to the short time later, towards Winnipeg Jets left the team, however. When his successor for the position of head coach in early August Jean -François Houle has been committed. To the minority shareholders of the new team include the NHL player Daniel Briere, Ian and Jean -Sébastien Giguère Laperrière.
