Royal International Horse Show

The Royal International Horse Show, also RIHS, the Nations Cup show jumping tournament in Britain.

The tournament is held annually in July on the grounds of the All England Jumping Course at Hickstead.

History

The first Royal International Horse Show took place in 1907 in the Grand Hall, Olympia, London. The tournament was held for some time also at Wembley and in Birmingham, since 1992 it will be held in Hickstead.

Nations

The Nations of Britain is held every Friday afternoon. He was from the beginning of the series to test the Samsung Super League and is still part of the FEI Nations Cup.

It is for the test by a jumping competition with two rounds and jump over 1.60 meters. The audit was endowed in 2013 with € 200,000.

King George V Gold Cup

The King George V Gold Cup is the Grand Prize of the Royal International Horse Show. Sponsor of the test, which is advertised as a jumping competition with two rounds over 1.60 meters, is Longines. In 2013, the test was also endowed with € 200,000.
