Peter Charles

Peter Charles, MBE ( born January 8, 1960 in Liverpool, North West England ) is a British show jumper.

In March 2013, located at No. 144 in the world rankings.

Career

In 1992 he took part in the Irish citizenship and thus rode at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona and 1996 in Atlanta for Ireland. In 2007 he again took British citizenship.

At the European Championships in 1995, where he rode for Ireland, he won individual gold and secured the Irish team the first gold medal in 30 years.

At the Olympic Games in London in 2012, he won the British team gold medal, he was ranked 65th in the individual

Private

Charles is an amateur golfer, in 2009 was at the Portuguese Pro / Am Championship alongside professional golfer David Howell and soccer player Stephen Penny on the podium.
