Ryu Ji-hae

Ryu Ji -hae ( born February 10, 1976 in Busan) is a South Korean table tennis player. She won two bronze medals at the Olympic Games.

Career

Ryu Ji -hae 1985 began with the table tennis sport. In 1995, she first participated in a World Championship. Here they came in a double quarter-finals. In Chul Seung Lee Mixed with she won bronze, with the South Korean team was runner-up. In 1999, she played in a single semi-final against the later title winner Wang Nan. With a 6-0 lead in the fifth set, they brought a warning from the referee out of the rhythm. So they lost this game and it was only enough for bronze. 2000 and 2001, she was with the team of third parties.

Twice she took part in the Olympics, every time she finished in third place in doubles: 1996 with Park Hae -jung and Kim Moo -kyo 2000, with which she repeatedly formed a successful doubles.

In 2001, she played for a few months in Montpellier in the French league. In the same year she won the German Open in Bayreuth in singles. In mid-2003, she ended her international career.
