San Rafael (Bulacan)

San Rafael is a Philippine municipality in the province of Bulacan, in the Administrative Region III, Central Luzon. According to the census of 2010 had 85 921 inhabitants of San Rafael, who lived in 34 barangays. It is classified as a church of the first income class in the Philippines and as a partially urbanized.

San Rafael's neighboring communities are Candaba in the northwest, in the west Baliuag, San Ildefonso in the north, Bustos and Angat Doña Remedios Trinidad in the south and the east. The topography of the city is characterized by lowlands. The northwestern part of the municipality lies in a valley, in which the Candaba River marshes spread, a well-known area among ornithologists worldwide.
