Sander van Doorn
Sander van Doorn (born 28 February 1979 in Eindhoven, real name Sander Ketelaars ) is a Dutch DJ and music producer in the field of electronic dance music. He is also known under the pseudonyms of Sam Sharp, Purple Haze and filter functions known.
Biography
Sander van Doorn began at the age of 16 years as a DJ and soon took first experiments in producing a drum machine.
The first successes he could hang up as resident DJ at The Gallery at Ministry of Sound in London and at Judgement Sunday at Club Eden in Ibiza. In June 2006, he was invited to give an Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1.
On 3 March 2008 Sander released his first album, " supernaturalistic " on the label Spinnin '. In the same month he won at the International Dance Music Awards at the Winter Music Conference in Miami the award for " Best Breakthrough DJ " and suggested in this category Calvin Harris, Deadmau5 and Axwell. His song " reef " was also nominated for best underground track.
Since 2006, Sander has a monthly radio show called " Identity " on the internet radio station Digitally Imported.
