Sauga Parish

Sauga ( German: Sauk or Sauck ) is an Estonian rural municipality in the district of Pärnu with an area of ​​164.8 km ². 58 % of the community is covered by bogs and forests.

The rural municipality has 2564 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2006). In addition to the main town Sauga it includes the villages Eametsa, Kiisa, Kilksamaa, Nurme, sweater, Räägu, Rütavere, Tammiste, Urge and Vainu. In the community Sauga is the Pärnu Airport.

Worth seeing is the Museum of the sweater. There was one of Estonia's oldest settlements of which is dated to the year 9500 BC.
