Tori Parish
Tori ( German: Torgel ) is an Estonian rural municipality in the district of Pärnu with an area of 282.1 km ². The municipality has 2538 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2006).
Geography
The town Pärnu is about 26 km southwest of Tori. The municipality is crossed by the River Pärnu. 43% of the municipality is covered with forests and 19% of bogs. 38% is used for agriculture.
History
The name of the parish Tori was first mentioned in 1544.
Structure
In addition to the main town includes the villages they tori Aesoo, Elbi, Jõesuu Kildemaa, Kuiaru, KORSA, Levi, Mannare, Muraka, Muti, Oore, Piistaoja, Randivälja, Riisa, Rätsepa, Selja, Taali, Tohera, Urumarja and Võlli.
