Schinne is a district of the town Bismark ( Altmark) in the district of Stendal, in Saxony -Anhalt ( Germany ).

Geography

Schinne in the Altmark is located about twelve kilometers north-west of Stendal. The hilly area around Schinne is drained by the ditch bacon, which forms the northern and eastern border of the district lamp. Adjacent locations are Rochau in the north, the east, and Stendal Bismark (Altmark ) in the south and west. The place is an elementary school site for the surrounding villages.

History

1158, the village was first mentioned in documents as Scinne. From this period dates the stone church in Schinne, one of the oldest German -ups in the Altmark. After the dissolution of the joint management Bismark / Kläden on 1 January 2010 and until incorporation into town Bismark ( Altmark) on 1 September 2010 Schinne was co-managed by Bismark ( Altmark).
