Seppo Räty

Seppo Henrik Räty (* April 27, 1962 in Helsinki ) is a former Finnish athlete.

Seppo Räty was found after the introduction of the new Speer in 1986 for ten years in the world-class and is of all Finnish javelin throwers of the modern era one with the most medals at major international events.

His career followed on from the by Arto Harkonen (Olympic Champion 1984), outlasted the career of Tapio Korjus (Olympic Champion 1988) and Kimmo Kinnunen (World Champion 1991), and ends when the career of Aki Parviainen (World Champion 1999) begins.
