Sergei Barbashev

Sergei Dmitrievich Barbaschew (Russian: Сергей Дмитриевич Барбашев; * July 26, 1992 in Moscow ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since June 2013 at the Admiral Vladivostok in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Sergei Barbaschew began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the HK CSKA Moscow, for its second team, he was active in the third-class Perwaja league in the 2008/ 09 season. In the 2010/11 season the defender made ​​his debut for the first team of HK CSKA Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League. In his rookie year he was point and impunity in three games. Parallel to the game Operation with CSKA in the KHL he played from 2009 for the junior team Krasnaya Armia in the multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League and won in the 2010/11 season with the team the Kharlamov Cup, the championship of the MHL.

During the Expansion Draft on June 17, 2013 Barbaschew was selected by Admiral Vladivostok.

Internationally

For Russia Barbaschew took part in the Under-18 Junior World Cup in 2010. During the tournament he scored two goals in seven games and six assists. During the tournament, he served as an assistant captain and was voted one of the three best players of his team.
