Denis Osipov

Denis Osipov Andreyevich (Russian Денис Андреевич Осипов; born May 9, 1987 in Moscow, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since June 2013 at the Admiral Vladivostok in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Denis Osipov began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the PHK Krylia Sovetov Moscow, for its first team he in the 2004/05 season his debut in the Wysschaja League, the second Russian league was, after he previously for since 2003 the second team of the club in the third-class Perwaja League was active. In the season 2005/ 06 the defender rose with his team on to the Super League, but had to accept the immediate re descent with the team. After another season in the league at Krylia Sovetov Wysschaja, he joined for the season 2008/ 09 the HK MVD Balaschicha from the Kontinental Hockey League newly founded on. For this, he completed throughout the season, however, only a single game.

The 2009/10 season spent Osipov again in the Wysschaja league in which he played primarily for the HK Rys Podolsk, before he finished the season at his former club Krylia Sovetov Moscow PHK. In the 2010/11 season he ran for the HK Sarov in the new second Russian league, the Wysschaja Hockey League on. For the following season, he was obliged by the KHL participants Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg, for which he completed 52 KHL games. He then moved to HK Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk. During the Expansion Draft on June 17, 2013 Osipov was selected by Admiral Vladivostok.

Internationally

For Russia Osipov took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2005. In six games, he remained no points and was awarded four penalty minutes.
