Sergei Soin

Sergei Soin (Russian: Сергей Викторович Соин; born March 31, 1982 in Moscow, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with the OHK Dynamo in the Kontinental Hockey League since May 2011.

Career

Sergei Soin began his career in 1998 at the Russian first division club Krylia Sovetov Moscow, he left in 2003. NHL Entry Draft 2000, the Colorado Avalanche had selected him in the second round at the 50th position for which he never played. After two seasons at HK CSKA Moscow he was 2005-2011 when Severstal Cherepovets under contract.

In May 2011, Soin has been committed for two years by OHK Dynamo.

Internationally

Sergei Soin graduated seven games for the Russian national team at the World Cup 2003. During his junior time he stood at the U18 Junior World Championship 2000 in six games for his country on the ice and won the silver medal. Two years later he was a participant at the U20 World Junior Championship in 2002 and won the gold medal with Russia. This success contributed Soin in the tournament with two goals.
