Sergio Agüero

Sergio Leonel Agüero del Castillo ( born June 2, 1988 in Buenos Aires ), also called Kun Agüero, is a Argentine footballer in the service of Manchester City.
Career
In the club
Youth
He began his career in 1997 in the youth of the Argentine Erstligavereines CA Independiente.
Independiente
His debut in the A- team of Independiente Aguero celebrated on 7 July 2003 in a game against San Lorenzo de Almagro. At this time he was 15, a month and three days old, and thus holds the record as the youngest player in the Argentine Primera División.
Atlético Madrid
Several international top clubs in Europe such as Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Juventus, Manchester United and Villarreal but also the Bayern Munich were interested in the young 1.72m wide and 74 kg in weight talent. In December 2005, Villarreal offered twelve million euros for 60 percent of transfer rights. The Bavarians made in April 2006, an offer of 15.7 million euros. Aguero eventually switched end of May 2006 for 23 million euros from Independiente in the Spanish Primera División for Atlético Madrid. His first league goal he scored in his third league match on 17 September 2006 against Athletic Bilbao.
In 2010 he won with his club, the UEFA Europa League by FC Fulham was defeated 2-1 in the final. As a result, Atlético Madrid qualified for the UEFA Super Cup. The game against Inter Milan could be won then, with Aguero scored the only goal in a 2-0 draw.
In early January 2011, he extended his current contract until June 2012 ahead of a further two years until June 2014, after he should have already received inquiries from the English Premier League. Specifically, therefore, it was surprising when he announced in May 2011, to wish to leave Atlético Madrid. He had been placed in the list of top scorer in Spain together with Álvaro Negredo (FC Sevilla) with 20 goals ranked third behind Cristiano Ronaldo ( 40) and Lionel Messi ( 31).
Manchester City
In July 2011, Agüero moved to Premier League club Manchester City, where he signed a five-year contract. According to media reports, the transfer fee was 43 million euros. Already in his first game for his new club Aguero was able to achieve two goals against Swansea City and recorded one assist. In the deciding match for the championship 13 May 2012 Agüero in stoppage time scored the goal for a 3-2 victory over Queens Park Rangers. This hit Manchester City won for the first time in 44 years the English Championship.
In the National Team
With the youth team of the Argentine national team, he won among others the Junior World Cup in 2005 in the Netherlands. His first game in the Argentine national team denied Aguero on September 3, 2006 against Brazil, when he came on for Carlos Tévez.
At the Junior World Cup 2007, he won with the Argentine national team in first place, in which he scored the equalizing goal meantime his team in the final. In addition, he was voted the best player of the tournament and won the Golden Shoe as top scorer ( 6 goals and 4 assists ).
In August 2008, he won the Argentine selection, the Olympic football tournament in Beijing. Agüero scored two goals in the tournament at the semi-final win against Brazil.

Family
Agüero was with Giannina Maradona, daughter of former Argentine international's Diego Maradona, romantically involved. Together they have a son who was born in 2009. The two broke up in January 2013.
