Sergio Castelletti

Sergio Castelletti ( born December 30, 1937 in Casale Monferrato, † 28 November 2004) was an Italian football player, he played at the position of a defender.

Sergio Castelletti changed in the season 1958/59 of Vigevano Calcio Fiorentina, where he belonged at first to the root formation. In Florence he celebrated great successes in the sequence. In the 1960/61 season Castelletti won with the viola both the Coppa Italia, and the European Cup Winners' Cup. The following season was very successful, Florence finished second in Serie A and reached the excellent 3rd place in the European Cup Winners' Cup the finals again, but where you failed at Atlético Madrid. In its eighth and last season in Florence Casteletti celebrated his third title in the jersey of the viola. As already 1960/61, was also 1965/66 the Coppa Italia won. After more than 200 games for Fiorentina Castelletti moved to league rivals Lazio. His start in Rome was anything but successful, as Lazio relegated to Serie B at the end of the season.
