Shōbara, Hiroshima

Shobara (Japanese庄 原 市) is a city in Hiroshima Prefecture in Japan.

History

The city Shobara was founded on 31 March 1954.

Geography

Shobara located northeast of Hiroshima and north of Fukuyama.

Attractions

In the urban area is the Kobo Dam (高暮 ダム, Kobo damu ).

Traffic

Shobara is located on the Chugoku Expressway and the National Roads 182, 183, 314 and 432 The main train station is on the JR Line to Geibi Niimi and Miyoshi and on the JR Line to Kisuki Matsue.
