Sienese School

The School of Siena was a painting movement in Siena ( Italy) between the 13th and 15th centuries. During this time she was next to the Florentine painting one of the most important, where she pursued a more conservative line, marked by the Gothic. Among the most famous representatives were Duccio, whose work showed a Byzantine influence, and his student Simone Martini.
