Silas Atopare

Sir Silas Atopare, GCL, GCMG ( born 1951 ) is a former Governor General of Papua New Guinea ( November 20, 1997 to November 21, 2003).

For his services he was appointed by Queen Elizabeth II to Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George in 1998. Silas Atopare is Seventh-day Adventist.
