Sisaket F.C.

The FC Sisaket ( Thai: สโมสร ฟุตบอล จังหวัด ศรีษะเกษ ) is a Thai football club from Sisaket, Thailand. The club plays in the Thai Premier League Division 1 The home games are played in the stadium Sri Nakhon Lamduan.

Club history

The club was founded in 1998. He first played in the Thailand Provincial League, a former league parallel to the Thai Premier League. In the founding year of the league, in 1999, Sisaket was able to win the championship. However, winning the championship is not eligible to participate in the Premier League or Asian competition. 2007 joined the club in the Thailand Division 1 League but immediately had to descend into the 3rd league. The resurgence succeeded immediately. Completely surprisingly, Sisaket placed in 2009 at the end of the season at No. 3 This was synonymous with the rise in the Thai Premier League. Sisaket is the first representative from the Issan, the Northeast of Thailand, in the top division of the country. Since September 2009, the association is registered as Sisaket FC Limited. Already after the second match of the 2010 season, the Brazilian Freddie Marinho was fired as coach and replaced by Kim Kyung- Ju.
