Sorin Frunză (2011)

Sorin Frunză (born 29 March 1978 in Galaţi ) is a Romanian football player. The midfielder has since the summer of 2012 in CF Braila under contract.

Career

Sorin Frunză began his career in his native town of Galaţi Galaţi at Dunărea, the (now League II) played into the Divizia B. The end of 1998, he moved within the league to CIMENTUL Fieni. The club missed the end of the season just move up to the Divizia A (now League 1). In his second season he came in Fieni no longer used regularly and changed into the winter break 1999/2000 for Politehnica Timişoara league rivals, but got there in danger of relegation and managed just the relegation. Then moved to Frunză Jiul Petrosani, which also played in Divizia B. There he made ​​a breakthrough, but also played against relegation in the Divizia C.

After his return he was in the 2007/ 08 season to key players. Thus, the top teams were aware of him and he moved in 2008 to Unirea Urziceni, where he won his first title with the championship in 2009. In the following season the runner-up and reaching the Cup finals followed.

The end of August left Frunză Urziceni and has since played for the Premier League rivals Rapid Bucharest. There he could qualify for the Europa League in the 2010/11 season. He then moved to Oţelul Galaţi. After a year he joined the second division club CF Brăila.
