Stadtoldendorf (Samtgemeinde)

The Samtgemeinde city Oldendorf was an integrated municipality in the district of Minden wood in Lower Saxony, Germany. It had its headquarters in the City Oldendorf. On January 1, 2011, the velvet municipality merged with the integrated municipality Eschershausen the new Samtgemeinde Eschershausen City Oldendorf.

To Samtgemeinde belonged the communities Arholzen, Deensen, Heinade, Lenne and Wangelnstedt as well as their administrative headquarters, the City Oldendorf.
History
On 17 December 1970, the councils of the municipalities Arholzen, Braak, Deensen, Denkiehausen, Emmer Born, Heinade, Hellental, Holenberg, Lenne, Linne Kamp, Merxhausen, Schorborn, Wangelnstedt and the City Oldendorf came together and voted to form a Samtgemeinde Stadtoldendorf from January 1, 1971, with around 12,647 inhabitants.
With the announced on November 20, 1972 " Law on the reorganization of the municipalities in Minden wood " made the following changes:
- Spin-off of the community Holenberg from the city Samtgemeinde Oldendorf and from 1 January 1973 integration in the Municipality Bevern,
- Integration of communities Braak and Schorborn to the municipality Deensen,
- Integration of communities Denkiehausen, Emmer Born and Linnenkamp to the community and Wangelnstedt
- Integration of communities Heinade, Merxhausen, Hellental to the municipality Heinade.
In December 1996, 11,317 residents lived in August 2010 and 9,880 residents in the integrated municipality.
On 12 October 2009 the Municipality Councils of Samtgemeinde Eschershausen and Samtgemeinde city Oldendorf in Eschershausen agreed the merger on the new Samtgemeinde Eschershausen City Oldendorf, which took place on 1 January 2011.
