The Samtgemeinde Eschershausen City Oldendorf is a local government association in the district of Minden wood and formed by the merger of the velvet municipality Eschershausen and Samtgemeinde Oldendorf city on 1 January 2011.

Samtgemeinde outline

To Samtgemeinde include the communities Arholzen, Deensen, Dielmissen, Eimen, Heinade, Lumber, Lenne, Lüerdissen and Wangelnstedt and the cities Eschershausen and city Oldendorf. It is based in the city Oldendorf, in Eschershausen is a branch office and a civil office.

History

On 12 October 2009 the Municipality Councils of Samtgemeinde Eschershausen and Samtgemeinde city Oldendorf in Eschershausen agreed the merger on the new Samtgemeinde Eschershausen City Oldendorf January 1, 2011.

Policy

With 69.33 percent was Wolfgang Anders (single applicant, formerly CDU and former mayor of the city Samtgemeinde Oldendorf ), was elected mayor of the new Samtgemeinde Samtgemeinde Eschershausen City Oldendorf. On the competitor Andreas Fischer (SPD ) accounted for 30.67 % of the valid votes. The turnout was 56.43 %.

The Samtgemeinderat the new Samtgemeinde Eschershausen City Oldendorf was elected on November 7, 2010 and includes 38 members of the Council:

The Samtgemeinde Eschershausen City Oldendorf public school authorities of primary schools in Deensen, Eschershausen and Oldendorf city and is divided into three school districts:

The integrated municipality also maintains seven kindergartens as day care centers for children and promotes the nursery of the Evangelical church city Oldendorf.

Coat of arms

The Samtgemeinde Eschershausen City Oldendorf took over first the coat of arms of the former city Samtgemeinde Oldendorf as a new emblem. In the main statute of the new authority is, however, stipulates that by the end of 2013, a new coat of arms should be created.
