State football leagues in Brazil
Football Championship of the states of Brazil will be played in 1902 and held by the associations of individual states. São Paulo was the first State, which held a championship. The 1888 launched and the English football pioneer Charles William Miller, inaugurated in the art of the football match São Paulo Athletic Club was the first title holder. 1905 was followed by the championship of Bahia and the year after Rio de Janeiro held its first state championship.

AD Bahia de Feira from Bahia, Independente AC from Pará, the EC Espigão from Rondônia and Roraima from AE Real are the first champions of the year. Penarol AC from Amazon, CERA Atlética São Mateus from Espírito Santo and SE River Plate from Sergipe were able to ensure their only their second success. The Figueirense FC and FC Avaí shared by both the award as giants in Santa Catarina with fifteen titles.
