Brasiliense Futebol Clube

Brasiliense Futebol Clube de Taguatinga, usually only briefly mentioned Brasiliense, is a football club from Taguatinga, in the Brazilian Federal District Brasilia, DF. The club colors are yellow and green, and are inspired by the Brazilian national colors. The team was founded on 1 August 2000 by businessman Luiz Estevão, which bought the Atlantida FC and renamed it in Brasiliense Futebol Clube. Since then Brasiliense has been the leading association of Bundesditriktes established between 2005 and 2009 and won six state championships in a row.

History

Already in 2002 the first club was in the Série C, which allowed the rise in the second league, the Série B. In the same year Brasiliense penetrated into the finals of the Cup of Brazil, but it lost to the SC Corinthians Paulista possible with 1:2 and 1:1.

In 2004, the club even made it into the highest Brazilian league, which Série A. In the same year Brasiliense also won the state championship for the first time the capital district, after the finale already been achieved in the previous year. Brasiliense has once won the title between 2004 and 2009 six uninterrupted and claimed the title again in 2011.

However, the season was in 2005 in the Série A is not quite as successful and Brasiliense rose as Table meanwhile back in the Série B from. In the 2010 season then the club got off in the Série C.
