STYL KAR (Greek: ΣΤΥΛ ΚΑΡ ) was a Greek company in the field of motor vehicles.

Company History

Stylianos Karakatsanis founded the company after the Second World War in Thessaloniki as a repair workshop and shop for motorcycles. The first commercial vehicles emerged. In 1965 the company moved to Athens and 1967 the construction of a new factory. In the 1970s, the company was dissolved.

Commercial Vehicles

The first commercial vehicles consisted of the front of a motorcycle and a rear axle. Above the rear axle was a loading area. On a body or weather protection has been waived. Later commercial vehicles were also three-wheeler, but possessed a contemporary body. In 1967 the 1300 model with an air-cooled boxer engine from Volkswagen. Of these tricycle models resulted in several thousand copies. 1970 was followed by a four-wheeled truck with 2 ton payload.
