Tropical (vehicles)

Tropical S. A. is a Greek manufacturer of vehicles from Athens. It produces mini-cars, scooters and hydrogen drives for buses and generators.

History

The company was founded in 1976 under the name Alfa as a body shop company that manufactured buses commissioned by ELBO. With the end of the bus production company to use the freed capacity for the production of a small car planned, what was omitted due to low demand. The company was renamed Tropical and focused since 1991 on the development and production of systems for alternative drives.
