Süderlügum (Amt)

The Office Suderlugum was an office in the district of North Friesland Schleswig -Holstein. Seat of the official administration was Suderlugum.

History

1889, the District Suderlugum was formed in a circle Tønder. It consisted of the eight municipalities Böglum, Braderup, Ellhöft, Holm, Humptrup, Suderlugum, Uphusum and Wimmersbüll as well as a part of the Manorial Gutsbezirks Gotteskoog. After the dissolution of the Gutsbezirks lying in the district areas are incorporated into the communities Holm, Humptrup, Uphusum and Wimmersbüll. The community was incorporated in 1935 by Böglum Ellhöft.

In 1948, the District was dissolved and the seven churches formed the Office Suderlugum. With resolution of the Office Klixbüll 1966, the two communities Bosbüll and Lexgaard came to office. 1970 Wimmersbüll was incorporated into Suderlugum.

On 1 January 2008, the Office communities joined with the City of Niebüll, the parish of Leck and the communities of the offices Bökingharde, Karrharde and Wiedingharde together to the Official Südtondern.
