Suqian
Province
Suqian (Chinese宿迁 市/宿迁 市, pinyin Suqian shì ) is a prefecture-level city with approximately 5.22 million inhabitants and an area of 8341 km ² in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu.
Administratively located Suqian is made up of two districts and three counties. These are:
- Municipality Sucheng (宿 城区), 866 km ², 850,000 inhabitants;
- Municipality Suyu (宿豫 区), 1236 km ², 680,000 inhabitants;
- Circle Shuyang (沭阳县), 2297 km ², 1.76 million inhabitants, capital: greater community Shucheng (沭 城镇);
- Circle Siyang (泗阳 县), 1213 km ², 950,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Zhongxing (众 兴镇);
- Circle Sihong (泗洪 县), 2729 km ², 980,000 inhabitants, capital: greater community Qingyang (青阳 镇).
