Sven Müller (racing driver)

Sven Müller ( born February 7, 1992 in Mainz ) is a German racing driver. He started in 2012 and 2013 in the European Formula 3 Championship.

Career

Müller began his motorsport career in 2004 in karting, where he was active until 2009. 2010 Müller moved to Formula racing and started for the Eifel country racing in the ADAC Formula Masters. He scored regularly points and ended his debut season in ninth place in the drivers' standings. In 2011, he played his second ADAC Formula Masters season for ma-con Motorsport. He won four races and scored twelve podium finishes. By season's end he was in second place behind the champion Pascal Wehrlein. However, the ranking was provisionally by the end of the season because of an occupational hearing. In February 2012, the decision of the appeal hearing was announced and put Mueller in a race he had won from the ranking. Thus he fell back behind the third placed Emil Bernstorff so far and eventually finished third.

2012 Müller went for the Prema Powerteam, which won the 2011 championship title in the Formula 3 Euro Series at the start. In addition, Müller was 2012 assessment entitled in the European Formula 3 Championship. With two wins in the Formula 3 Euro Series, he finished sixth. In the European Formula 3 Championship, he was on the eighth. In both series, the championship title went to his teammate Daniel Juncadella. 2013 Müller launched initially for ma-con and later for Van Amersfoort Racing in the European Formula 3 Championship. Müller once stood in third place on the podium and finished the season as ninth position overall.

2014 left Müller formula racing and moved to the GT racing. He takes in the German Porsche Carrera Cup. In addition, he was admitted to the funding of Porsche.
