Taejong of Joseon

Taejong (* 1367, † 1422 ), born Yi Bang -won, was the third king of the Joseon Dynasty of Korea from 1400 to 1418.

Life

Born in 1367 as the fifth son of King Taejo in 1400 he supplanted his brother Bang - gwa ( King Jeongjong ) from the throne.
