Tatiana Kashirina

Tatjana Yuryevna Kaschirina (Russian Татьяна Юрьевна Каширина, English transcription Tatyana Kashirina, . Born 24 January 1991) is a Russian weightlifter. It was 2009 Vice World Champion and 2009, 2010 and 2012 European champion in the weight category over 75 kg body weight.

Career

Tatjana Kaschirina one of the biggest talent that has produced in recent years, the Russian weightlifting. The age of 14 she launched in 2005 at the European Championships for Juniors (U 16) in Sofia and took in the weight category to 58 kg body weight by 174 kg ( 78-96 ) challenges the 3rd place behind Meline Dalusjan, Armenia, 197 kg and Roxana Cocos, Romania 195 kg. A year later she was at the Junior European Championships in Palermo in the weight class up to 69 kg 214 kg ( 97-117 ) winner before Tatiana Zhukova of Ukraine, which came to 208 kg.

Immediately after this European Tatjana Kaschirina tested positive in a doping control. She was then locked until 8 September 2008. The fact that such a young athlete (she was at the time of the test, 15 years old) was doped, neither throws a good light on them, nor on the Russian Weightlifting Federation and the responsible officials and coaches.

One week after the end of their doping ban she started at the Junior European Championships in Durres / Albania. She had in the meantime grown into over 75 kg body weight in the weight class in which they now always started and won in Durres quite superior to a duel output of 270 kg ( 120-150 ) before Julia Katschajewa, Russia, 231 kg ( 103-128 ).

In 2009 she won then at the European Championship in Bucharest. She scored there in a duel 280 kg ( 125-155 ) and was with this performance before Natalya Gagarin, Russia, 253 kg ( 110-143 ) and Julija Dowhal, Ukraine, 252 kg ( 111-141 ). A few weeks later, she scored the Russia Cup in Vladikavkaz 292 kg ( 127-165 ) new European junior record in the tackle and in pushing, sparking from no less than Agata Wrobel of Poland.

At the height of her career in the start at the 2009 World Championships in Goyang / South Korea was. Although she could see the Olympic champion Jang will not compromise the outstanding weightlifter in recent years in this weight class Mi -ran of South Korea in the duel championship, but she managed in the snatch of a sensation this lifter with 138 kg defeat to 136 kg and thus to become new World Champion.
