Tatiana Malinina

Tatjana Mali Nina (Cyrillic: Татьяна Малинина, Uzbek Tatyana Mali Nina ) ( born January 28, 1973 in Novosibirsk, Soviet Union) is a former Uzbek figure skater.

Her father is a figure skating coach and ice dancers. With him, she coached for 18 years. Her mother was a gymnast. She also has a brother. Her other coaches were Xenofontow Igor and Roman Skornjakow. She moved as a teenager to Tashkent and lived there, but since 1998 she trained in Dale City, Virginia, USA, and in summer in Prague. She started for the club Alpomisch sport. The 1998/1999 season was their most successful by far. She won the Grand Prix Final and the inaugural Four Continents Championship, which was also the first medal winner at an ISU Championship for Uzbekistan. In the 1999 World Cup they missed finishing fourth just barely a medal. In January 2000, she married her coach Roman Skornjakow.
