Kanako Murakami
Kanako Murakami (Japanese村上 佳 菜子, Kanako Murakami, born November 7, 1994, Nagoya ) is a Japanese figure skater who starts in a single run.
Murakami was in 2010 in The Hague Junior World Champion. In the same year she won at Skate America and thus their first Grand Prix competition in the seniors. They thus qualified for the first time for the Grand Prix Final of seniors and won the bronze medal. In 2011, Murakami made it for the first time on the podium at the Japanese Veterans Championships. Thus, they qualified for their first World Cup, which she finished in eighth place. In 2012 she improved in the World Cup to fifth place. She was also in this year, part of the Japanese team that won the World Team Trophy. 2013 Murakami won bronze with her first medal at Four Continents Championships. At the World Championships she could with her fourth place in the previous year, improve again. She put it on their personal best in all segments and the overall performance.
