Tatiana Padilla
Tatjana Yadira Padilla Suarez ( born December 19, 1990 in Azusa, California) is an American wrestler. She won at the World Championships of Women in 2008 and 2010 a bronze medal in the weight category up to 55 kg body weight
Career
Tatiana Padilla grew up in Covina Northview (California ), where she already started with the rings at the age of four years. She later continued this sport in high school and when Ringer Club California Grapplers Lavorne. My first coach was Davie Ochoa. Throughout her career, then also coached at Bobby Bellamy, David Craig, Chris Lopez and the national coaches Terry Steiner and Vladislav Isboinikow. After graduating from high school days she visits now the Lindenwood ( Mo.) University. She trains mostly in the power center of the U.S. Ringer Association in Colorado Springs.
Tatiana Padilla had at national level early success and was in the years 2005, 2006 and 2007 U.S. Junior National Champion (Age group Cadets = age group up to 16 years ) and 2007 for the first time U.S. junior champion ( age group to age 20 ). In 2007, she was in Beijing at age 17 Vice Junior World Champion in the weight category to 59 kg. She had this to defer only the locals Li Song Ni.
In 2008, she was U.S. junior champion again and finished in the U.S. Olympiaauscheidung ( Trials ) in the weight class up to 66 kg behind Marcie van Dusen and Sally Roberts 3rd place. Were held in 2008 even world championships after the Olympics. Tatiana Padilla took at the World Championship Trials 1st place and represented for the United States at the World Championships in Tokyo. She defeated while Sofia Poumporidou from Greece, Enid del Carmen Velasquez Rivera from Puerto Rico and Tatjana Grigrojewa from Belarus, then lost to Tetyana Lazareva of Ukraine and finally secured with a win over Ana Maria Pavał from Romania a World Cup bronze medal. Two months earlier, si had already won at the Junior World Championships in Istanbul with a victory in the decisive battle of the Indian Geeta a bronze medal.
In 2009, Tatiana Padilla in the U.S. Championship of Women in the weight class up to 59 kg, although only on the 4th Place. But you won at the World Championship Trials in the weight class up to 55 kg and therefore competed at the World Championships in Herning / Denmark, where they one after victories against Gudrun Annette Høie from Norway and Geeta, India against Sona Ahmadli from Azerbaijan and finally in the struggle for bronze medal against Alena Filipowa from Belarus lost and so came on the 5th Place.
In 2010, Tatiana Padilla first time U.S. champion in the weight class up to 55 kg before Helen Maroulis and Whitney Conder. They then sat down in the World Cup Trials against Helen Maroulis through and participated in the 2010 World Cup in Moscow. In 2011 Tatiana was only on some international tournaments at the beginning of the year at the start. Since March 2011 she was no longer visible on the mat, for reasons which are not known.
