Criticism

" Although the film has passages of great adventurous voltage, it is often too verbose and detailed and has the acting out of necessity alone of the very good James Stewart some lengths. Amazing is Billy Wilder's ingenuity in power to stage a literally moving over long distances in the tiny cockpit of the machine in the film over wide scope format. "

" The outer and inner drama of the first flight across the ocean, is impressively reflected in the film, which can be recommended from 10. "
