Background

As for Fernando von Arb lymphatic cancer in 1992 has been determined, the future of crocus was not the first time in the history of the band uncertain. The - apart from von Arb - completely newly formed cast who had recorded the album Stampede, was because of the serious illness of the only remaining Urmitglieds after only a brief interlude back story. Then three years were to elapse before again should come live in the most successful Swiss rock band of all time. After Fernando von Arb 1994 was fully recovered, the band presented again in a new line-up - but one that was made up of already well-known musicians: The longtime frontman Marc Storace came back for Peter Tanner to the mike, Mark Kohler took over at place of Tony Castell back the rhythm guitar and Freddy steady, who already completed the band between To You All and One Vice at a Time, Peter Haas replaced on drums. From the previous line-up, stood beside von Arb, only Many Maurer left. However, the two remaining members also exchanged the Instrument: von Arb moved to the former position of lead guitarist and back Maurer took over the bass. In this cast crocus first completed in 1994, the Living Legend tour before they released the EP available only in Switzerland You Is not Seen Nothin ' Yet and finally in 1995 the album To Rock or Not to Be in the same year. And this especially enjoyed the fans, because that, like the two predecessors, provides in Pink studios resulting in Zuchwil and available in two different cover art work straight, mature, tinged with blues hard rock. With the songs " Flying Through the Night ," " Lion Heart" and " Natural Blonde " which should all appear in the live set the band even later, the album number 5 was the hitherto highest ranking in the Swiss album charts of Heart Attack Setting and beyond retract a gold award. Again pointing much out that Krokus are back, but this time it should be, as so often come in the band's history, different. Exactly like the first comeback attempt in 1988, the cast also broke this time apart almost completely. The just retrieved members Storace, Kohler and Steady were just as quickly as they had come away again. Crocus seemed to come to the end next time. But, once again, the music world a better informed and so crowded the only line-up constants of the last decade, Fernando von Arb and Many Maurer, 1999, in turn, new contributors are: The Welsh frontman Carl Sentance and two Swiss, rhythm guitarist Chris Lauper and returnees Peter Haas on drums, completed the cast for the sequel Round 13 to Rock or Not to Be was re-released in 1999 in a double pack with Stampede. This version has the added with an approximately 2-minute percussion part Chesslete version of Bachman -Turner Overdrive cover " You Is not Seen Nothin ' Yet".
