Treviso Basket

Pallacanestro Treviso was a basketball club that was located in the northern Italian city of Treviso. The association founded in 1954, was taken over in 1982 by the domicile in the same region, fashion group Benetton, which is why the club was better known under the name Benetton Treviso. Home games wearing the team in the 5000 persons in an indoor PalaVerde (the name alludes to the club color, namely green, an) from.

Since the early 1990s Pallacanestro Treviso was one of the most successful clubs in Serie A. In the Euro League, the club was a regular participant. For the 2006/07 season the club had however to contend with a point deduction of 15 points, as they had exceeded the permitted number of players used. Thus, the play-offs were clearly missed the first time and also qualifying for the Euro League.
