Triple Alpha Luftfahrtgesellschaft

Triple Alpha airline was a German airline based in Dusseldorf, which since July 8, 2011 in insolvency. Home base was the Dusseldorf International Airport. It operated commercial aviation and cargo flights, but also air ambulance and organ transports. 3A Triple Alpha asked a portfolio of aircraft charter and aircraft management to pilot training.

Most managed by Triple Alpha 3A aircraft were owned by private owners or are owned by the Company.

History

The company was founded in 1995 as Avanti Aviation Aachen based in Aachen. 2000, the company moved to Dusseldorf, the company was renamed in its present name. 2009 Triple Alpha was a member of the Ocean Sky group, but remains an independent company based in Dusseldorf exist.

1995-2000

In March 1995, Hans Pfeiffer and Erik Scheidt first worked together to care for a Cessna Crusader C303 and founded two months later, the Avanti Aviation Aachen airline. In mid-1996 the license was issued an air carrier by the AOC, we also took two Cessna Golden Eagle on the fleet. There were other Einflottungen how in September 1997 a Cessna Citation Jet C525 and a half years later, a Piper Cheyenne IIIA. By the middle of the year last turboprop aircraft was retired.

2001-2005

In June 2001, a one flottete the first commercially approved Cessna Citation Jet CJ2 in Europe, the end of the year, however, two older Citations left the fleet. In the years that followed purchases of additional aircraft, including a Cessna Citation II E550 and an overhauled Cessna Citation V C560. The end of 2005 a French registered Cessna Citation Jet C525 was taken in Paris under cooperation between the German Federal Aviation Authority and the French aviation authority in service.

2006-2010

In November 2006, Triple Alpha was awarded the contract to build an Airbus A319 CJ from production to coordinate to delivery. The fleet had a size of a total of nine Cessna Citations. This was followed by further Einflottungen, including an overhauled Cessna Citation III 650, a brand-new Bombardier Challenger 300, a Bombardier Global Express 700, the first Cessna Citation Mustang in Europe, a factory- new Airbus A319 CJ and other Cessna Citation jets with locations in Oberpfaffenhofen near Munich, Paderborn and Dusseldorf. In November 2009, 3A Triple Alpha member of the British Ocean Sky group, which was first with 60% of principal shareholder. Beginning of the following year took a Gulfstream G150 in one operation. The end of 2010 Ocean Sky increased its stake in the company to 80%.

2011

In January 2011 ( Gulfstream G150 ) was an unsuccessful attempt started with the Einflottung of the third medium haul, arrest the decline. In July 2011, the company Triple Alpha went bankrupt.
