The Tshwane University of Technology (English Tshwane University of Technology), short TUT, is a university in Pretoria. It was founded on 1 January 2004.
Organization
The university is headed by an administrator appointed by the Minister of Education since August 2011, for management include deputy in addition, three Vice-Chancellor, Executive Deans, a director of marketing and corporate affairs as well as a CFO. The line is the University responsible, which defines, together with the Senate guidelines, and is responsible for financial planning and academic affairs.
The TUT has seven faculties:
- Agriculture,
- Natural sciences
- Engineering
- Computer science and communication science
- Management Science
- Art history
- Humanities
- Economics.
The faculties are divided into departments.
The faculties are divided into different campus areas:
- Tshwane Campus
- Polokwane Campus
- Nelspruit Campus
- Emalahleni Campus.
