Tuntange
Tuntange ( Luxembourgish Tenten, French Tuntange ) is a municipality in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in the canton of Mersch.
Composition of the community
The municipality consists of the villages Tuntange:
- Ansembourg
- Bour
- Hollenfels
- Marienthal
- Marie Thalerhofstraße
- Tuntange Klaushof
- Kohlbachhof
Attractions
The territory of the municipality together a whole range of attractions, which are actually of historical importance and blend until today into a pristine landscape.
For the Eisch valley is under the name " Valley of the Seven Castles" advertised. Those present on the territory of the Tuntange Hollenfels castle and the castle Ansembourg and Ansembourg castle.
Of outstanding importance for Luxembourg's history, however, is the Marienthal monastery, which has been newly demonstrated by the re-discovery of the Codex Mariendalensis.
