Twin Valley is located in northwestern Minnesota on the south bank of the Wild Rice River, a right tributary of the Red River of the North. The geographical coordinates are 47 ° 15'35 " north latitude and 96 ° 15'26 " west longitude. The city covers an area of 2.25 km ².
