Urby Emanuelson ( born June 16, 1986, Amsterdam) is a Dutch footballer of Surinamese origin in the service of AC Milan. The left-back has a great offensive potential and is therefore also used in the midfield.

Urby Emanuelsons Errol 's father was a footballer. He played in Suriname's capital Paramaribo for the SV Robin Hood and the national team. After moving to the Netherlands Urby son was born, who already at SC Voorland emulated his father as a child. He soon came to AFC Ajax in its football school, he went through the entire youth teams. His debut in the first team he was on 24 February 2005 as a 18 -year-old lost with coming off the bench in the UEFA Cup second leg against AJ Auxerre, Ajax is 1:3 and therefore stood down. In January 2011, Emanuelson moved to AC Milan, with whom he signed a contract until the end of the 2013/14 season.

On January 31, 2013 until end of season Emanuelson was awarded to Fulham.

National

With the Dutch U21 national Emanuelson won the U21 European Championship in 2006. During the same tournament, he was chosen due to its good performance one of the best eleven players.
