Vegar Eggen Hedenstad ( born June 26, 1991 Elverum ) is a Norwegian football player who is under contract with German Bundesliga side SC Freiburg.

Hedenstad began his career in the youth of the Norwegian Association Elverum Fotball. In 2006 he graduated at the age of only 14 years in a game against Mjøndalen IF its debut in the men's area.
