Všestary (Hradec Králové District)

Všestary ( German Schestar, formerly Wschestar ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers north-west of the center of Hradec Králové and belongs to Okres Hradec Králové.

Geography

Všestary is located on the East Bohemian panel. To the north of the hill Chlum collected ( 337 m).

Neighboring towns are Rozběřice in the north, Neděliště in the northeast, Světí in the east, Plotiště nad Labem in the southeast, and Bříza Rosnice in the south, Dolni Přím and Probluz the southwest, Střezetice in the west and Dlouhe Dvory and Lipa in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was carried out in 1360 as a possession of the Queen Grätzer citizen Zdislav. Later, the Dubánský of Dubany acquired the goods. They sold a part of the property at the beginning of the 15th century Matějík and Jakub Saksch. 1419 William sold his remaining share of Dubánský Jiří Hradec Kralove. At the beginning of the 16th century the village belonged to the Queen City Graetz, who sold the farm to Alexander Absolon of Dobříkov and his brother. This bequeathed in 1506 the estates of the city testament. One of the courtyards, the Council sold it to the local citizens, Jan Puska. Because participation in the anti-Habsburg uprising the estates of the city were confiscated in 1547 by the Bohemian and Roman-German king Ferdinand I. and sold one of the courtyards in Schestar to John of Pernštejna. This died the following year and his three sons, Jaroslav, Vratislav and Vojtěch sold their goods to Zdeněk Zaruba of Hustířan on Cerekvice. The other goods the king gave in 1549 to the parish and the hospital of Queen Kralove back. The following year, the city bought back all the goods of Ferdinand I.. After the Battle of White Mountain, the goods of Queen Gratz were confiscated again, in 1628 the city received it back.

After the abolition of patrimonial Všestary formed in 1850 a municipality in the district of Hradec Kralove. On July 3, 1866 met during the German war on the Chlum the warring Prussian and Austrian troops on each other. The bloody battle has become known as the Battle of Hradec Kralove in the story. In 1949 the parish was assigned to the Okres Hradec Králové - okolí and came to its dissolution on 1 January 1961 Okres Hradec Králové. At the same time Bříza and Rosnice were incorporated ( with boron 2 díl ). In 1985, Rozběřice add a district. On 1 January 1989 the incorporation of Chlum and Lipa, who had heard up to that point to the municipality Číštěves.

The municipality consists of the villages Všestary Bříza ( Birk ), Chlum, Lipa ( Lipa ), Rosnice ( Rosnitz ) Rozběřice ( Rosberschitz ) and Všestary ( Schestar ) and the settlement of boron 2 díl ( 2 boron content).
