Vujadin Savić ( Serbian Cyrillic Вујадин Савић, born July 1, 1990 in Belgrade, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian football player who is preferably employed in the position of central defender. He's since the summer of 2010 the French first division club Girondins Bordeaux under contract.

Career

Career start in Belgrade

His active career as a football player began Savić at his home club, FK Red Star Belgrade, where he went through the various youth leagues. Due to its good performance in the offspring of the tall defender was awarded by the club's own youth for FK Rad in 2007, which had its gaming operations at that time still in the subprime Serbian Prva liga Srbija. He was 23 March 2008 to his competitive debut when he came into use in the 1-1 home draw against FK Zemun from the start and was in the 78th minutes replaced by the striker Nemanja Obradovic. Return to Red Star Belgrade

Moving to France

From the U-17 to the U-21 National Team

First experience in a youth team of his native country was allowed to collect Savić in 2006, when he was first appointed to the U-17 squad of Serbia. With the team he participated, among others, the qualification for the U-17 European Championship in 2007, did not make it to the team is, however, to qualify for the finals in Belgium. After further appearances for the Serbian U-19 selection, for which he often acted very goal threat, he came in 2009 for the first time in the U-21 national team of Serbia, for the to date ( as at 10 October 2010) he in eleven completed internationals four times came to scoring. In addition to his father Dušan, who played during his career at club level for the FK Red Star Belgrade, Sporting Gijon, the OSC Lille and AS Cannes, and in 1975 came to twelve inserts and four goals for the Yugoslav national team until 1982, Savić has also a soccer-playing brother.
