The Welcome Air Luftfahrt GmbH & Co KG is an Austrian charter airline based in Innsbruck and based on the Innsbruck airport. It is also the parent company of the Tyrol Air Ambulance, and in the meantime liquidated Air Alps.

History

Welcome Air was founded in 2000 and adopted on May 22, flying between Innsbruck and Graz. Since then, the offer was expanded successively.

In July 2011, however, announced that the scheduled air service from Innsbruck and Graz is set to the end of 2011 for economic reasons and Welcome Air concentrated on other business areas until further notice.

From 1 July until 31 August 2012 Welcome Air operated the route Klagenfurt - Vienna on behalf of Austrian Airlines, which itself could not operate the route due to lack of staff.

Destinations

Welcome Air has suspended all scheduled flights, but charter for business, it will be offered.

As of August 2013 the fleet of Welcome Air consists of two planes:
