Welsh Premier Division
The Welsh Premier Division ( from sponsorship reasons Principality Premiership ) is the highest league for Welsh clubs below the multinational Magners League, participating in the four Welsh regions. It was introduced at the beginning of the season 1990/91 and consists of 14 teams. In the seasons 2000/ 01 and 2001/ 02, the two Scottish clubs Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors took part in league play, so it was called at that time Welsh - Scottish League. Record holder is the Neath RFC with six titles.
