Wil Wheaton
Richard William " Wil " Wheaton III ( born July 29, 1972 in Burbank, California) is an American actor and writer and former child actor.
Life
Wheaton's parents are Debbie, an actress, and Richard William Wheaton, a medical technician. He has a brother, Jeremy, and a sister, Amy.
Its popularity owes Wheaton especially the role of Wesley Crusher on the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation. Previously, he played a major role in the film Stand by Me - The secret of a summer.
In his youth he was a frequent guest at Star Trek conventions and very popular in youth magazines. Acting-wise, he joined apart from Stand by Me and Star Trek: The Next Generation hardly appear. His work on a weekly broadcast series was not compatible with offers for other film projects such as Miloš Forman's Valmont. 1999 married Anne Prince Wil Wheaton, who brought two sons into the marriage.
Activities
Wil Wheaton operates one of the most popular fan blogs. In addition to his work on his own blog, he is a regular writer on Slashdot and Fark and a committed staff at the Electronic Frontier Foundation and entered in the course of surveillance and espionage in 2013 in the video "Stop Watching U.S. " on. He also controls regularly in contributions to the websites of Metroblogging Los Angeles. Within four months, three editions of this book have been sold, so that the O'Reilly Media was aware of it and signed a contract for three books with Wil Wheaton. Dancing Barefoot appears since at O'Reilly, as well as his second work Just a Geek (released summer 2004). A version is also available as an audiobook.
He is involved now in the Poker Team PokerStars. In addition, he was from September 2006 to September 2007 one of the moderators of the English video podcasts Indigital - Your Life in Gear. Since 2009, several times he plays in the series The Big Bang Theory itself, where he appeared self-deprecating with repeated references to his role of Wesley Crusher first as a nemesis, later as a friend of the character Sheldon Cooper.
