Wilhelm Leichum

Wilhelm Leichum ( born May 12, 1911 in Neu-Isenburg, † July 19, 1941 in Gorky, Soviet Union ) was a German athlete who European champion in the long jump was twice in 1930, and at the 1936 Olympic Games, the bronze medal in the 4 times won 100 - meter relay race.

Wilhelm Leichum launched first for the MTV Wunsdorf, 1938 for the DSC Berlin. In his playing days, he was 1.74 m tall and 70 kg. He died in the summer of 1941 during the Second World War as a lieutenant on the Eastern Front.
