Wolfgang Boss

Wolfgang Boss ( * in the 20th century ) is a German music manager, music producer and owner of the label " B1M1 Recordings", a joint venture with the Universal Music Germany GmbH. His successes include 50 gold and platinum awards.

Life and musical work

Entry into the world of music was Wolfgang Boss during his studies. During this time he worked as a DJ, was club manager and founded his own House -Music- Club MACH 1 Here he came into contact with international DJs and artists from the House scene. 2004, one year after the entry of his own company " Mach 1 Records GmbH " (Berlin ) as a partner in the newly established house label "Ministry of Sound Germany ," Boss reached with the young label MACH 1 with " Dragostea din tei " ( Haiducii ) and "Obsession" ( Aventura ) two number-one hits. "Obsession" is held seven weeks at No. 1 on the German charts.

2005 produced Wolfgang Boss together with the German producer Reinhardt " Voodoo" Reith 's music project Crazy Frog. The single " Axel F" was the world's best-selling single of the year and the number -one hit in over 30 countries (UK, France, Sweden, Russia, South Africa, India, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand and many more). The corresponding ringtone ( marketed by Jamba ) became the world's best-selling ringtone. In France, Crazy Frog led a total of 20 weeks on the national charts, the longest time ever was an artist at the top of the French charts. "Axel F" stayed 14 weeks at the top and was then replaced by " popcorn ", the second Crazy Frog single. With over 1.3 million albums sold in North America, Crazy Frog positioned as the most successful German pop production to the international market in the 2000s.

2006 Wolfgang Boss produced in cooperation with Konrad von Löhneysen of "Ministry of Sound Germany " for the FIFA an album for the official mascot Goleo VI for the soccer World Cup in Germany. The single " Goleo VI pres. Bob Sinclar: Love Generation " is held nine weeks at No. 1 on the German charts and became the best selling single of 2006 in Germany.

2007 Wolfgang Boss was a response to an offer of " Universal Music " and founded "B1 Recordings" as a joint venture with Universal Music Germany. Over the next three years, "B1 Recording" became a hit label in Germany.

With hits by artists such as Milow ( " Ayo Technology") Stromae ( " Alors on danse " ), Edward Maya ( " Stereo Love " ) and Pitbull ("I know you want me" ) are occasionally Publications of B1 Recordings on front chart positions. With three releases in the top 15 year -end charts in Germany, more than any other national or international label to "B1 Recordings" now positioned " B1M1 Recordings" in 2010 as size among the international music labels.

Awards
